Before you apply
- Open the official source, then the exact vacancy. Confirm it is still open.
- Check South Africa or the permitted region, work authorisation, working hours and time-zone overlap. Ask the employer if anything is unclear.
- Confirm employee, contractor or freelance terms and current platform fees. Never pay an employer to apply.
- Verify the recruiter and company independently. Record the vacancy URL, date checked and evidence in your tracker.

If a link changes
Start from the organisation’s official homepage and its Careers or Jobs menu. Avoid lookalike domains and sponsored impersonations. Report a broken link or changed eligibility to RemoteLaunch Support with the source name and URL.
Using the Kit over time
Recheck vacancy requirements each time you apply. The offline directory retains August 2026 research as historical context. Exchange rates in the offer workbook must be entered from your current bank or provider quote, with the date and source; they do not refresh automatically. A seven-day rate check is a reminder to refresh, not a guarantee that a quote remains available.
Kit corrections
v2.1 released: 13 October 2026. The corrected Kit fixes tracker totals, application matching, follow-up counts and offer comparisons, and adds a Workbook Walkthrough. Use the new workbooks instead of the v2.0 dashboards and paid-leave-adjusted comparison.
Existing buyers can use their download email or the replacement-download email. The ZIP keeps the filename RemoteLaunch-SA-to-Remote-Kit-v2.0-RELEASE.zip to preserve existing links; inside, the folder and release notes identify v2.1. Keep a backup of your completed files. Transfer your own input values into the corrected workbook; do not copy old formulas over the new ones.
